Ambassadors of Dhol was founded in 1995 by Prithpal Sirjeet whilst teaching the Tabla and Dhol for Newham Youth and Community Education.

Ambassadors of Dhol was formed as Prithpal felt that a good number of his students were at an advanced level of drumming in its most complex and creative form.
